FAQs

What are the differences between the IKAPE Manual Coffee Grinder and the IKAPE V2 KM7 Grinder?

IKAPE Manual Coffee Grinder : Offers interchangeable 5-sided/6-sided/7-sided burrs for customization, a 24-click adjustment dial, a 30g large-capacity bean hopper, and a basic magnetic powder bin. It’s ideal for users who want versatility and like experimenting with different burr styles.

IKAPE V2 KM7 Grinder: Features a fixed 38mm 7-sided burr with dual bearings for ultra-consistent grounds, a smooth infinitely adjustable dial, a stepped magnetic powder bin to prevent accidental detachment, and a transparent anti-splash lid. It’s built for precision and stability, perfect for espresso and specialty brew enthusiasts seeking reliable, channeling-free extraction.

How to use a moka pot for the first time and what precautions should be taken?

For a 2-shots moka pot, add 120–150 ml of water up to the marked scale line. The maximum water level is 5 mm below the pressure relief valve. Add approximately 18–20 grams of coffee grounds, fill the filter basket fully, and level the grounds gently without tamping. Remove the moka pot from the heat once brewing is complete. This brewing method yields around 75–90 ml of concentrated coffee. Please note: do not tamp the coffee grounds, only level them lightly.

Can the 100-level adjustment of this electric coffee grinder precisely fit all brewing methods including espresso, pour-over and cold brew?

Yes. It has 100 fine adjustment gears, covering grind sizes from ultra-fine for espresso to coarse for cold brew. You can easily set ideal fineness for pour-over and other brewing styles.

Color Set Matching

  • The Black

Classic black is a color that IKAPE has always stood for, and you can choose black on almost any IKAPE product. Black is one of the very popular colors that can match most of the coffee machines to build a cool coffee bar

  • The Silver

The silver color of IKAPE products is more like galactic silver, like the color of the galaxy sparkling in the dark night. If your coffee maker is stainless steel looking ECM, Rocket, etc., it will match very well

  • The White
