I have tried many variations of trying to adjust to this basket to get it to work. I have a BES881 and run just about everything as far as roast goes. I have tried running 16-18g through this basket and have yet to find a "two steps" coarser grind that works, try almost 20. Regardless of machine tamping or manual tamping, with a puck screen or not. (Btw can't use a puck screen) I have the pesado group head and hyper grind puck screens. Screens won't fit even if I only use 16g. This is currently a 50 piece of metal that I wasted my money on. Read more reviews of you're using a machine like me. Maybe buy one of the real versions and not this one that was most likely copyright stolen. Have a good day.
Disappointed that the product came directly from China from such a brand
Vacuum aesthetically looks good but functionally could be improved in a couple of areas. This vacuum is quite loud, perhaps even plunder than much bigger vacuums. Pressing the power button turns the vacuum on at a lower rpm, pressing again go to the max rpm, then press a third time it will stop. The reason this is annoying is because the vacuum is already loud at the lower rpm, but now it has to cycle through the max rpm just to turn it off and that is even much louder. It came with a few basic attachments but some of them like the long narrow attachment tends to get loose even after manually sliding it into the chamber. Considering the increasing number of options now of similar vacuums with even more features, I would not buy again unless improved.
I have the KAPO K2 Espresso Maker and this basket improved the shot quality on the first try. I bumped up the coarseness of the grind and the shot delivered more fruit, less bitterness, better mouth feel and thick crema. Kinda crazy the difference over the standard 58mm basket.
