Metal feels cheap for how bulky and heavy it is. doesnt lock open or closed, so it flaps around unless stored tightly or deployed. doesnt have a designated place in the case I bundled it with so it moves around with whatever else you put in the mesh pocket. fitting with the K2 51mm portable espresso machine is tight, does not seat well without the basket installed. pulling the machine off the stand requires you to hold the stand in place. Even on sale feels to expensive to buy again or recommend. This stand is trying to be portable, adjustable, and bulletproof all at once.
Have been loving the KAPO K2 as a new mainstay in my travel and work coffee set up. Works great to make soup shots. Only issue is the tamper sometimes gets stuck in the basket - have to use it with the dosing funnel but it limits the reach
I had experience of having portable Hibrew, IKAPE is different level. Love it
