I received the scale securely from ikape. After charging and powering it on, I used it immediately. For reference I have the acaia lunar, BooKoo Themis, time more nanoand it Functions comparatively to the expensive ones double is price. Holding it, you can just feel some heft to it so you know you are using a premium product .It is very light and quick to display accurate weight value use. Its accuracy is on part with my lunar. But I have very much prefer this one as it has a better dot matrix display. I have also connected the scale to my phone via Bluetooth and I have been tracking various brews with it. It is a nice addition that you don’t really see in this price range. I’m hoping that they would add more features and allow you to connect to other devices. Compared to the BooKoo scale, this has a much bigger base and is definitely preferable for pour overs. How to using this for the past two months and has been my daily and come to think of it. I don’t think I’ve charged the battery since I got it. For the feature set at this price there is no other scale on the market. I have been happy with his friend today and I believe you will be too.

I was even more astounded when I tried the extraction with the increasingly popular variable-diameter basket. I used a 58-38mm basket, and the results were fantastic, achieving success on the first try. You can see the images below. The IKAPE 58mm portable coffee maker offers even more control through its app, allowing you to control pre-infusion, extraction time, heating schedules, and water flow. Makes very good espresso for a portable machine.
Couple of usability quirks:
1. Hard to remove the basket, haven’t been able to get it out, a bit afraid to use more force and damanfe the basket
2. If you grind too find and choke the machine, you’re sol until the machine cools down
A nice well built portable espresso coffee maker and powered by the mobile all which makes controlling the shot dialing easy.. I wished to find a bag or even a cloth purse with it..I wished if I found a small tamper and a dosing ring instead of the large ones which came separately..I am sure it is made basically for mobility and travel..So please consider.
Received my machine and made several excellent espressos right away. Unit is easy to use and can take aftermarket baskets. Love the settings in the app to adjust temp and pre infusion. Easily the best travel espresso machine on the market. I had an issue with my unit heating up and Edward from customer support helped me get a replacement quickly. Differences Between KAPO K2 and KAPO K2 pro
The only difference is the brewing group: the K2 has a 51mm head, while the K2 pro has a 58mm head. Otherwise, their performance is identical. The 51mm basket holds 14-18g of ground coffee, while the 58mm basket holds 16-20g. Both can be replaced with commercially available single-shot baskets of the same size, as well as other high-extraction baskets. So, should you choose a 51mm or 58mm basket? It's important to understand the differences: The 51mm and 58mm baskets have different diameters, so the coffee puck thickness will vary with the same weight of beans. The 58mm basket will have a thinner puck, resulting in less drag at the same grind size. This means you can grind the beans finer. A finer grind results in a more even and potentially better extraction. Ultimately, it produces a different flavor profile. Of course, if you prefer a coarser grind for espresso, the 51mm is the best choice.
