Differences Between KAPO K2 and KAPO K2 pro

The only difference is the brewing group: the K2 has a 51mm head, while the K2 pro has a 58mm head. Otherwise, their performance is identical.
The 51mm basket holds 14-18g of ground coffee, while the 58mm basket holds 16-20g. Both can be replaced with commercially available single-shot baskets of the same size, as well as other high-extraction baskets.
So, should you choose a 51mm or 58mm basket? It's important to understand the differences:
The 51mm and 58mm baskets have different diameters, so the coffee puck thickness will vary with the same weight of beans. The 58mm basket will have a thinner puck, resulting in less drag at the same grind size. This means you can grind the beans finer. A finer grind results in a more even and potentially better extraction. Ultimately, it produces a different flavor profile.
Of course, if you prefer a coarser grind for espresso, the 51mm is the best choice.
