Innovative Designs Espresso Gravity Distributor

Adaptive gravity block drop design allows for leveling of the coffee grounds during the spinning process. Avoid the traditional depth-adjustable espresso distributor method of operation. Easy to use, just pick up and use. No cumbersome loosening/adjusting/tightening operation process required

High Quality Food Grade Material for Coffee Leveler

The gravity block is made of food grade 304 stainless steel and the housing is made of aircraft aluminum. The gravity block part is titanium plated and smoked black color for a cooler look

The Science of Four-pulp Leveler

This coffee distributor leveler is equipped with a quad pulping surface that scientifically levels the ground coffee and even scrapes cleanly off the walls of the portafilter basket. Make the surface of your coffee puck more even!

Compatible with Multiple Sizes for All Espresso Portafilter

IKAPE's Gravity Dispenser is compatible with a wide range of coffee accessory sizes, including 51mm, 53.3mm, 58.5mm

Precision Vertical Tamping for Perfectly Even Pucks

    • The tamper maintains a strict 90° angle with your portafilter, applying equal pressure across the entire coffee puck. No more lopsided tamping that leads to uneven extraction.
    • A perfectly level puck prevents water from finding weak spots, eliminating channeling and its bitter, sour-tasting results.

Gravity-Adaptive Design & Precision Depth Scale

    • Gravity-adaptive design eliminates the need for manual adjustments, ensuring consistent powder distribution every time.
    • Precise depth markings provide accurate control, eliminate channeling, and enhance extraction.

Five Precision Components for Efficient Coffee Distribution

    • Four-Blade High-Efficiency Paddle: A unique four-blade spiral design ensures even distribution of coffee grounds.
    • Superior Handling: The Top Tower features a precision rubber damping ring for smooth, effortless pressure release.
    • Sturdy and Durable Construction: The precision main sleeve and locking nut fit together tightly for superior wear resistance.

    FAQs About IKAPE Gravity Distributor

1, What is a gravity coffee distributor?

A gravity coffee distributor is an espresso distribution tool designed to help spread coffee grounds more evenly using a gravity-assisted mechanism.

2, How is IKAPE Gravity Distributor different from a normal distributor?

Traditional distributors mainly rely on manual rotation and pressure. The IKAPE Gravity Distributor uses a gravity-assisted design to help guide the distribution process and create a smoother workflow.

3, Can it reduce espresso channeling?

A distributor may help reduce uneven puck preparation, which is one factor that can contribute to channeling. However, extraction also depends on grind size, dose, tamping, and brewing parameters.

What is the maximum drop travel (depth) of the gravity-fed leveling block?

The maximum gravity drop depth is 12mm. This extended travel ensures that even with a lower dose or a deeper basket, the distributor can drop down far enough to perfectly reach and interface with the coffee bed surface.
What is the weight of each size, and will the gravity drop accidentally compress (pre-tamp) the coffee powder during rotation?

The weights for each size are as follows:

    • 51mm: Approx. 345g (12.2 oz)
    • 53.3mm: Approx. 381.5g (13.5 oz)
    • 58.5mm: Approx. 445.5g (15.7 oz)

While it relies on its own substantial weight to drop, it is engineered to automatically adapt to the height of the coffee bed without compressing or pre-tamping the grounds. It gently combs and distributes the coffee evenly across the surface, ensuring a perfectly level, fluffier puck profile before you apply final tamping pressure.
Can this gravity mechanism be disassembled for cleaning?

Yes, absolutely. Simply unscrew the top metal cap to access the internal Retaining Nut and Rubber Damping Seal. All components can be disassembled in sequence for thorough cleaning and easily reassembled afterward to maintain optimal, smooth operation.
